Just a quick note to let you know that we arrived in Denia after a 6am wake-up, 3 hour train ride, and 2 hour bus ride. Today, we went out for tapas and wandered around. Tomorrow, we are going on a hike and to see a castle. We´re looking forward to being in a smaller city (one that does not have a Starbucks every 10 feet).

What do twenty-something girls from the nation's capital do to properly ring in the Spring? They travel to Spain for Las Falles, of course! Aside from the flights and accomodations that we arranged in advance, our itinerary will form itself. Here's to the spontaneity that will shape each day, the many adventures we will encounter, and the memories we will make along the way. We will share as much as we feel necessary...as for the rest, what happens in Spain, stays in Spain!

But you should really try some of the Absenta while you're down there. It's where they have the good stuff, the one that shows up on the toxin scale between pure Nicotine and hemlock.

Hi there girls! Em's sister, Kim, here. I tried posting a comment earlier in the week, but apparently it didn't take. Em, IU is on tonight - Go Hoosiers! Hope you are all having a blast...sure sounds like you are. I booked DeBrand's on 4/23 for Becky's shower - I'll tell you all about it when you get back. Becky and I also found a cottage on Lake Michigan (close to Chicago) for her bachelorette - $500 for the weekend, which is good, considering she wanted to stay in this $1200 castle when we first started looking. Love you lots and can't wait to see you!
